LiveChat.stream is intended for adults only. Several measures are in place so that minors do not reach this content.

Current state of the check

The prompt shown on entry is a self-declaration. It is not, on its own, an age verification system. Where the law requires verified age — Germany under § 4(2) JMStV, the United Kingdom under the Online Safety Act, France under the SREN law, and a growing number of US states — an accredited verification provider performs an identity and authentication step before access, in addition to this prompt.

Labelling for filter software

Every page carries the RTA label (Restricted to Adults) and the meta tag rating: adult. Parental control software and operating system filters recognise these markers and can block the site without any action on our side.

What the platforms verify

Every broadcaster listed here holds an account with Chaturbate, Stripchat or BongaCams. Those platforms verify the identity and age of their broadcasters before allowing them to go live, and keep the corresponding records. We list only what those platforms publish through their public interfaces.

Advice for parents

  • Enable a parental control programme on every device a minor uses.
  • Use the built-in screen time and content filters of iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.
  • Points of contact: your national youth protection body, and organisations such as klicksafe.de, internetmatters.org or connectsafely.org.

Reporting illegal content

Any suspicion of the depiction of a minor, of coercion or of non-consensual recordings must be reported immediately to abuse@livechat.stream. We remove the listing within 24 hours, report it to the hosting platform and cooperate with law enforcement.
